DayFolder – Clear and organize what’s on your desktop

You like a clean desktop, but you don’t like having to manually clean it up. DayFolder helps!

As a handy little program that lives in the panel, you can have it throw everything on your desktop into a daily folder (located wherever you like) to keep for later but not distract you now.

This is very beta, and I can’t guarantee anything here. But I trust it to work on my files, so give it a shot!

You can also set specific file type rules. Maybe you want all the .png and .jpg files on your desktop to go to your Pictures/DesktopPics folder. DayFolder can do that for you!

Visit the DayFolder page to download the latest .deb file.

Note: Currently, to run DayFolder after installing, open a terminal and use the command dayfolder.
